Chakra (Elements and Jutsu)
The Five Basic Natures, are the five elemental chakra natures, which are the foundation of all elemental ninjutsu. Each element is naturally weaker than and stronger than another:
Fire: Nature of the chakra that allows the use of the Fire Element, is strong against Wind but weak against Water. Some Fire Jutsu:
- Fire Sword (Tenrō Kaken)
- Jutsu Fire Dragon (Katon: Ryūka no Jutsu)
- Fire Bullet (Katon: Endan)
- Great Fire Annihilation (Katon: Gōka Mekkyaku)
- Fire Bomb (Katon: Genshibakudan)
- Rasengan in Flames (Katon: Gōen Rasengan)
Wind: Nature of the chakra that allows the use of the Wind Element, is strong against Lightning but weak against Fire. Some Wind Jutsu:
- Super Shockwave (Fūton: Disamui)
- Super Tornado (Fūton: Rawekiman)
- Gust of wind (Fūton: Kazekiri)
- Wind Sword (Fūton: Kaze no Yaiba)
- Rasengan (Fūton: Rasengan)
- Rasen Shuriken (Fūton: Rasen Shuriken)
Lightning: Nature of the chakra that allows the use of the Lightning Element, is strong against Earth but weak against Wind. Some Lightning Jutsu:
- Four Pillar Bind (Raiton: Shichū Shibari)
- Lightning Sphere (Raikyū)
- Lightning Dragon Tornado (Raiton: Rairyū no Tatsumaki)
- Lightning Bright (Inazuma Senkō)
- Sword Chidori (Chidori Kōken)
- Chidori (One Thousand Birds)
Earth: Nature of the chakra that allows the use of the Earth Element, is strong against Water but weak against Lightning. Some Earth Jutsu:
- Earth Shield (Doton: Gaeshi Doroku)
- Rock Dome (Doton: Iwa no Dōmu)
- Jutsu Rock Fist (Doton: Kengan no Jutsu)
- Dragon of Earth and Rock (Doton: Dosekiryū)
- Clash of Mountains (Doton: Gaban Kyuu)
- Jutsu Light Rock (Doton: Keijūgan no Jutsu)
Water: Nature of the chakra that allows the use of the Water Element, is strong against Fire but weak against Earth. Some Water Jutsu:
- Jutsu Waterfall (Suiton: Takitsubo no Jutsu)
- Water Canyon (Suiton: Taihōdan)
- Jutsu: Water Prison (Suirō no Jutsu)
- Water Shot (Suiton: Teppōdama)
- Big Water Blast (Suiton: Dai Bakusui Shōha)
- One Thousand Sharks (Suiton: Senjikizame)
Dōjutsu: They are genetic ninja abilities that manifest in the eyes, allowing them to perceive chakra in one form or another. All dōjutsu are also known to provide the user with some unique abilities, such as an expanded field of vision capabilities or as a way to predict enemy movements, etc. The use of dōjutsu consumes minimal chakra. Of all the known dōjutsu, the Byakugan, Rinnegan, and Sharingan are collectively known as the Three Great Dōjutsu, we can list some:
- Sharingan
- Mangekyō Sharingan
- Amaterasu
- Byakugan
- Rinnegan
- Tenseigan
- Jōgan
Each one adds unique abilities to the ninjas, a very convenient power in battles. The appearance of ninjas with these Dōjutsu is limited.
